How to Plan the Merriest of Holiday Parties!

With the holidays just around the corner, it is time to plan your holiday event! First determine what type of holiday party this is – fun & festive, upscale business networking, black tie dinner party, outdoor bonfire, etc. Once you know the type of event, you need to consider the following hand-in-hand – guest list and venue – make sure they fit each other. Now it is time to pick a date and a caterer! With that part locked down, you are ready to send out invitations and start the fun décor and menu planning. There are many ways to decorate for the holidays depending on your budget, type of event, and venue. As caterers, we are here to offer you matching linens, china, rentals and even centerpieces. The smallest details can add so much to your event. Try adding a sprig of pine and a cinnamon stick tied to your napkins, or floating candles in a vase of water & cranberries, or ornaments filling a pretty clear vase. These are simple and inexpensive ideas that can add that extra flair to your table. It is important to coordinate all of the fine details ahead of time so the day-of the event it is smooth sailing for you (so you can enjoy the party of course!). Calling the week prior to the event and confirming details with vendors is one simple way you can avoid any last minute glitches.
